Carbide-tipped Blade

A carbide-tipped blade is a type of band saw blade with teeth that have a carbide tip brazed onto a steel body. These blades combine the cutting performance and wear resistance of carbide with the flexibility and lower cost of steel. Carbide-tipped blades are suitable for cutting a wide range of materials, including hard and abrasive materials that would quickly dull conventional steel blades, and generally offer longer service life and improved performance.
